黃重諺表示，大陸對台灣在各方面打壓不分藍綠，也沒有因為是否在某些政治主張上有不同的表達，而有不同待遇。他轉述，蔡總統知道此事後認為，國內藍綠政黨在政治上或意見不同，但對外就應該一致，總統認為，總統府第一時間做出這樣的反應，是適當地代表國家的態度。

中央社報導，總統府發言人黃重諺18日指出，第一時間總統府已做回應，馬英九是中華民國前任總統，主辦單位以這樣的方式對待台灣的前任元首，非常不恰當也不禮貌，主辦單位應該向馬英九與台灣人民道歉並做改正。
